Where: Lubbock Downtown
When: Friday September 2 | 6 pm – 9 pm
Information: First Friday Art Trail is a monthly happening in Lubbock Downtown. This event is held at the same time every month, and features local businesses in a self-guided art tour through the Lubbock Cultural District. There’s something for everyone at this event as it’s constantly changing and updating every month!
Where: Lubbock Downtown Farmers Market, 19th St. & Buddy Holly Ave., Lubbock, TX
When: Saturday September 3 | 9 am – 1 pm
Information: Every Saturday, the Downtown Lubbock Farmers Market is set up and ripe for the picking. The farmers market features loads of locally-grown, fresh produce, tons of activities, and showcases the work for sale of many local craftspeople and artisans. The Saturday farmers market id a fun way to kick off any weekend with the family!
Where: National Ranching Heritage Center, 3121 4th St., Lubbock
When: Saturday September 2 | 10:30 am – 1 pm
Information: The National Ranching Heritage Center at Texas Tech hosts ranch Host Saturday many Saturdays throughout the year. This event features Ranch Hosts dressed in period-specific clothing, whose job it is to guide visitors through the historic park. Ranch Hosts answer questions, offer interesting information, and have loads of knowledge about the grounds and structures.

When: Monday September 4 | 8:30 pm
Information: What better way to end a long weekend than with some of the best local music around? Every Monday, the Blue Light hosts Singer/Songwriter Night in which local artists can showcase original songs and talent. You never know what you might see as big names like Red Shahan, Brandon Adams, Benton Leachman, Charlie Shafter, William Clark Green and Josh Abbott began playing open singer-songwriter mic nights at The Blue Light.
