Fall Festivals and Events near Lubbock, Texas

Fall Arts & Crafts Festival

When: Saturday, September 8th, 2018
Where: Garden & Arts Center – Lubbock, TX

The 48th annual fall arts and crafts festival is coming to the Lubbock Garden and Arts Center at the beginning of September. The event is free to attend and features a variety of work from local artists, makers, and food vendors. Over 6,000 people are expected to attend, so make sure to come early!

Hub City BBQ Cook-Off

When: Thursday, October 11th, 2018
Where: South Plains Fairgrounds – Lubbock, TX

BBQ fans will want to block Thursday, October 11th off their calendar for the 18th Annual Hub City BBQ cook-off. A variety of BBQ foods will be available to taste, and Shane Smith and The Saints will headline the entertainment portion of the event with Lubbock-Cooper High School’s Cole Barnhill as the opening act.

Oktoberfest 2018 at Llano Estacado Winery

When: Friday, October 5th, 2018
Where: Llano Estacado Winery – Lubbock, TX

More information about the Oktoberfest celebration can be found on the vineyard’s website closer to the date of the event.

Fredericksburg’s Oktoberfest 2018

When: Begins Friday, October 5th, 2018
Where: MarktPlatz – Fredericksburg, TX

Lubbock locals who are serious about their Oktoberfest celebrations can make the journey south to one of the oldest and largest Oktoberfest celebrations in the state of Texas. This three-day event includes plenty of beer, German food, a chicken dance, domino tournament, polka music, and much more! Visit the event’s website for more information.
